Computational creativity systems are playing verysignificant roles in creative activities, such as finearts, design, and music. Computational creativity,an Artificial Intelligence (AI) subfield, is the study ofsystems that exhibit behaviour that would bedeemed creative in humans. Such computationalcreativity systems can be used for autonomouscreative tasks, such as painting pictures andcomposing music. Studying computationalcreativity systems enables us to better understandthe human process of creation. Its study alsoallows us to produce systems for creative people touse, where software becomes a creativecollaborator rather than a mere instrument of theartist’s creativity. While there is much scholarlydiscourse on how a Creative Artificial IntelligenceSystem (CAIS) is realised, how it generates,selects and evaluates results, there is lessresearch on the importance of the role of humancollaborator, the user experience (UX) and its directapplication within a practical environment.This research is significant as intelligent systemsare at time of growth and being utilised in variousdomains including the art and design field. Thisadoption requires for new models of creativepractice to emerge, where the system acts incollaboration with the users.
