Please read the articles down below and make your won respond for each article. Number the articles For example: article 1: I agree with you…… also provide some new ideas No resources needed 100 words needed for each respond Article 1: Discuss the benefits and limitations of purchasing a home entertainment system directly from a number of component manufacturers rather than from a retailer. A benefit of purchasing a home entertainment system directly from a number of component manufacturers rather than from a retailer is customizability. Buying each component individually allows the purchaser to “mix and match”, creating the exact system desired. A limitation of purchasing a home entertainment system directly from a number of component manufacturers rather than from a retailer is cost. Buying from a retailer will provide the purchaser with an “out of the box” solution. This eliminates many of the parallel supply chain movements. There will likely be a reduction in quality of parts as well. These factors signicantly reduce cost to the end user. Article 2: Discuss the benefits and limitations of purchasing a home entertainment system directly from a number of component manufacturers rather than from a retailer. COLLAPSE The benefit of purchasing a home entertainment system directly from the manufacturer is you are cutting out the middle man. When I walk into a retail store, the cost will be much higher. The retailer will charge me more in order to make a profit since they have spent money on the item and the wholesaler. The limitation is that if I were to purchase from a manufacturer directly, they may only be able to provide me with a limited amount of product. On the other hand, if I were to walk into a clothing store in the mall, they will have shirts, pants, shoes, jewelry, etc. Thus, giving me more product to choose from all in one place instead of having to go to multiple manufacturers to get my product. Article 3: “Walmart is not good for society.” Support or refute this statement and discuss why you’ve taken that position. I am going to refute the statement “Walmart is not good for society.” Despite the myriad businesses they have destroyed, Walmart has created a net positive number of jobs as well as contributing net positive billions of dollars to the economy. Additionally, Walmart’s mind-bogglingly huge and efficient supply chain has made all of their products available to the vast majority of Americans. This includes relatively cheap produce and meat that may not be otherwise available to some lower income families. They have also created fierce market competition, which also helps drive prices down for all products carried by Walmart stores. Article 4: “Walmart is not good for society.” Support or refute this statement and discuss why you’ve taken that position. “Walmart is not good for society” is a false statement to me. I have shopped in many different grocery stores and I have found very very few that can provide a one stop shop. In this case, Walmart can be the delivery person for me. I can walk in and have access to food, clothes, medicine, eye car, and even a local bank. It is a place that has a great retail mix and allows you to get all your errands done in one place. It provides convenience and saves time. I personally don’t want to spend a whole day running errands. When it comes to intratype competition, Walmart is at the very top of the list. I do occasionally shop at Sam’s Club but there are times when I don’t want to buy everything in bulk and I may need just 1 lemon or 1 can of soup and with Walmart being able to bulk break, it then allows me to buy little quantities. Walmart provides convenience at an affordable price. …
